Just wanted to drop a note to celebrate to myself having reached losing half of my target weight loss. As an obese male working for the NHS the last 2 years I had to do something and no rapid binge diets either.
After years of excuses and bad habits using simple math of calories in and calories out appears to be working for me.
The key thing is that I have to make myself obsessive over logging everything (thank goodness for barcode scanning on the myfitnesspal app)
Couple of apps/products I use
Apple Health Kit
Fitbit Wifi Scales (so no lying to myself)
Apple watch for tracking steps and getting me moving
Finding that clothes are too big for me now is one of the most emotionally pleasing things ever. Just need to find time to go shopping now.
