Since I have been working with organisations that look at the health and well being of the population. With an ageing population in England. What does that mean for how we as a society support each other and provide the structure to do so.

As the NHS is looking at the use of technology and various innovations. I am keen to look see what other people have researched.

Professor Hiroko Akiyama of the Institute of Gerontology at the University of Tokyo said,

“We need to redesign the whole society. Because of its existing structure, we don’t currently meet the needs of an ageing society.”

There is tremendous potential to engage with new and existing industries, organizations and agencies to create more holistic solutions that better support the ageing population and help them maintain social connections.
